SUBMISSIONS:
Submissions should be sent by post (not email) to The SHOp, Skeagh, Schull, Co.Cork, Ireland. Please ensure your
name is on each page.
We prefer to receive no more than 5 or 6 poems at a time. We are happy to send a decision to an email address,
if you do not need your work returned. Otherwise please send a return envelope with Irish stamps or International
Reply Coupons.
You will usually hear from us within four weeks, though it can be a little more during busy periods. Once a poem
is accepted, it will normally be published within twelve months. You will know when it is published because
contributors’ copies of the magazine are the first to be mailed out.
We are also happy to receive samples of art work, by post or email.

Originally, only a handful of bookshops stocked the magazine. Thanks to the efforts of some of our readers, who
